Implement matcher

Will an implement run behind a tractor? Take the implement’s required PTO power, hydraulic flow and lift from its manual, then read down to the band that meets it. Every figure here was measured by a laboratory on the test named, all three columns come from that one test, and PTO power is the maximum-power run. Brochure claims are a different quantity and are not in these columns.

How do I use it?

  1. Find the implement’s required PTO power (kW or hp) and jump to that band or a higher one.
  2. Check pump delivery against the flow the implement’s hydraulics need.
  3. Check lift force against the implement’s weight. The reports state the force, not where on the hitch it was measured, so leave a margin.
