Why believe these numbers?
Because each one says where it came from. Where an independent laboratory has tested a tractor, its page leads with the power measured at the PTO shaft and names the test report — 232 reports on file for 38 of the 3,138 tractors on record. Where no test exists, the figure is labelled as the manufacturer’s claim, never as measured.
